For electricians & electrical certifiers

Electrical reports, signed off before you leave.

Record test results in a form you designed, arrow the fault on the photo, and have the declaration signed on the iPad while you are still standing at the board.

Paper on site, typing at night

01

Results written twice

Readings go on a clipboard at the board, then into a document later that evening. The transcription step is slow and it is exactly where a digit gets transposed.

02

Signatures chased by email

The declaration goes out as an attachment, comes back scanned and crooked a week later, if it comes back at all. The job stays open in the meantime.

03

A switchboard photo with no context

A picture of a board proves nothing on its own. Which circuit, which fault, which clause — none of it is in the image, and by the time you write it up you are guessing.

Test, record, sign, send

Solo

Forms you design yourself

Build the form your work needs — text, numbers, dates, yes/no, single and multi-select. Answers come out as formatted report text, not as a raw table dump.

Solo

Signed on the iPad, on site

A multi-signer declaration block, signed by everyone who needs to sign it before you pack up. Nothing to scan, nothing to chase.

All tiers

Point at the fault

Pen, arrows, shapes and text over the photo, Apple Pencil ready. The mark saves with the image, so the reader sees what you saw.

Business

Your own columns

Define a custom table with the columns your schedules actually use, rather than bending someone else's template around a circuit list.

Professional

Certificates kept with the job

A document register for certificates, permits and plans, attached to the report and listed properly rather than stapled on as loose PDFs.

Business

Locked when it needs to be

Password-protect the PDF and restrict copying, printing or editing. Sensitive work stays controlled after it leaves your hands.

Sections built for electrical work

Reports are built from blocks you drag into the order you want. These are the ones this work leans on most.

  • Form Block
  • Photo Findings
  • Custom Table
  • Document Register
  • Defect Summary
  • Signature

Questions

Can I build my own test form?
Yes. Forms are yours to define, with text, number, date, yes/no, single-select and multi-select fields. Each answer can trigger your own wording, so the finished report reads as prose rather than as a filled-in form.
Can the declaration be signed on site?
Yes. The signature block supports multiple signers on the device, so the declaration is signed before you leave rather than emailed back and forth afterwards.
Can I password-protect the finished PDF?
Yes, on the Business tier. You can set a password and restrict copying, printing and editing.
Can I define my own table columns?
Yes, on the Business tier. Custom tables let you set the columns and data points your schedules need instead of working around a fixed layout.
Does it replace my certificate-of-compliance system?
No, and it does not try to. Matora is where the inspection, the evidence and the report live. Statutory certificates still go through whatever your state requires.

Capture once. Your report basically writes itself. We’re opening the doors soon.

One email when we open the doors. Nothing else.
